Since late 2010 the Document Modelling team has been working with lawyers the world over to bring a data centric approach to contract drafting.
The development of Prose, our primary product, is backed by one of the worlds largest law firms, and has changed the way that lawyers approach drafting contracts.
In 2017, after repeated interest in our technology that turns documents into data, we split out part of Prose and made it available as a service. This was the birth of the Prose Document Engine. Since then we have been working with professionals in the legal tech and AI world to build fully fledged products that utilise the service.
We believe that documents are data and that each and every component of a document can treated as an individual unit with links to other individual units. This is a core tenant underpinning each and every one of our products and allows us to build tools that are essentially LegalTech 2.0.
We are committed to bringing about change in the slow-moving legal world, and to helping the legal community grow and evolve.
The Document Modelling team is made up of those intimately familiar with the legal industry coupled with dedicated and experienced technical talent.
Carla is an 10-year qualified practising lawyer who has worked across a wide range of legal environments in Australia from traditional style national and large global firms to a Sydney boutique and sole practice, as well as working as in-house counsel in both multi-national corporations and in government.
Carla believes that the legal services industry needs to get smarter, better and more efficient and that technology will be the catalyst for positive change across the industry for consumers, professionals and businesses alike.
As one of our early adopters of Prose v 1 in sole practice, she is one of our most dedicated fans!View Profile
